Texas Precious Metals Announces the Opening of Texas Precious Metals Depository
Private storage facility for gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion offers fully segregated storage and state-of-the-art security; largest in South Texas
Texas Precious Metals, a leading online precious metals company, has announced the opening of its private underground bullion depository. The facility is entombed in concrete with three layers of concentric protection, bulletproof doors at all access points, armed security, and 24/7/365 interior and exterior surveillance. Texas Precious Metals Depository is also monitored remotely by county and city law enforcement, who are situated within one mile of the facility, and is 100% insured by Lloyd’s of London.
“This project has been in the works for a number of years, and we are delighted to offer storage options to the public,” stated Tarek Saab, President of Texas Precious Metals. “This expansion has been entirely customer-driven and offers greater security and flexibility to our client base.”
The depository has been used as the main storage and logistics center for Texas Precious Metals since 2012, processing over $500 million in precious metals transactions. The expansion of the facility for private customer storage includes fully segregated storage boxes and privately leased TRTL-30X6 equivalent Tann Banker’s Treasury Safes.
Among other features, Texas Precious Metals Depository is outfitted with biometric scanners, metal detectors, man traps and truck traps. The facility requires dual controls in all restricted areas, segregation of duties, recorded ingress and regress monitoring of all personnel, chain of custody monitoring, and 5S operations methodology.
Texas Precious Metals Depository (“TPMD”) is a division of Texas Precious Metals (“TPM”) and a private facility unaffiliated with state or federal government. For more information, please visit texasdepository.com.
